Awesome screen! And I love that Mustang paint scheme. :)

Here's one of mine from this morning. Interesting weather on the road to Reno:

Wonderful! Yeah, high mountain desert isn't what most people think it is. We get wide ranges of temperatures and humidity, which makes for some interesting local weather. They say P3D is going to deal with volumetric fog in an improved manner, but I'm guessing OpusFSX is helping generate the weather you see above.

Yes, that's Opus at work. I've noticed that about the high desert areas. The same sort of thing happens in Utah. And, as you say, the weather can be highly localized.

I first flew the area at about 7:00AM local and there was a bit of haze developing. Had to quite the flight to do something. Came back an hour and a half later to start out of Fallan again and found a much heavier fog layer. This screen is from later in that flight and farther to the west.

It can be crystal blue skies for days and, then, suddenly.......   :)   The fog surprised me. Yesterday afternoon's flight featured some nice puffy clouds. And then this this morning.  :)

So true. It all depends on what the sky is doing.

Here are two from yesterday morning's foggy takeoff:

And, today, the weather is completely different. I appreciated the clouds. They make the sky so much more interesting.

On to Reno:
