P3D EF2000 preview

By Tom_Weiss, 02/23/2016

Here are some preview pictures of my Eurofighter Typhoon project - this is a payware effort for P3D/FSX - which will also support Tacpack.

The external model is almost complete - while the VC is 40% done... hopefully a Beta will be ready for summer...

DCS Compatibility:
I have received several emails and messages asking for DCS support and long story short DCS support will not happen, at least in the foreseeable future. For one, I do not have the time. Then DCS does not offer an open, royalty-free and publicly accessible SDK and requires developers to be highly qualified and acceptance of very stringent requirements.
Note that this does NOT mean that you are entitled to try your own conversion and share them. Sure, you can do whatever you want for your personal use, but converting and than sharing the models and artwork or other stuff is not allowed (see the reasons why below...).

It's great but I don't think it'll even be needed to make this DCS compatible since I believe there already is a Eurofighter Typhoon under development. I wonder when that will be out though :/

It would be great if he did it - he just started making payware add ons, so I guess it will be a long while before he seriously considers doing anything else than FSX-P3D, and that market is much bigger than DCS and he can continue to be independent if he stays in it.
