The video shows the current state of engine, and given that it's still in an alpha stage there are some noticeable bugs. Bear in mind that we aren't scenery designers so basically everything you see there is programmers art.

Microsoft Game Studio latest version of the Flight Simulator Franchise, Flight! was announced today :
Twenty-eight years after the debut of “Microsoft Flight Simulator 1.0” Microsoft Game Studios announced the internal development of “Microsoft Flight” a new Windows exclusive. “Microsoft Flight” will bring a new perspective to the long-standing genre, welcoming everyone, including long-time fans, to experience the magic of flight.

Microsoft closed Aces Studio, the publisher of Microsoft Flight Simulator in February 2009 - considering how long it takes to develop a new product, this announcement probably does not mean that we will have it released any time soon, also, it will be very interesting to discover what 'will bring a new perspective' really means.

Well, we had a time fixing some glitches to our ladder site ...but did manage some fixes and some still need addressing...
Now, what we have done is separate the Ladder site from the forums..seems this caused some issues with the Ladder site...
Our new forums are up, and the new ROE's for FC2 are posted...you need to re-register or register for both the Ladder site and forums since the fixing of these glitches corrupted the database..(sorry :-))
Another new announcement we are please to announce, is that we have a new sponsor...

A Notice to all Mod Makers
|
|
If you plan to upload Mods at our Website, you should open a thread about your Mod in our Forum - we are not a Free Hosting service where you can upload a file then post that you did it, in another Forum.
We on principle do not track other Forums so we are not aware of the development of Mods or what they change or don't, don't leave it up to us to support your Mod : if you don't plan to support your Mod, don't upload it here.
Uploading updates to your Mods and leaving it up to us the figuring out of what to update, is also counter productive - post that you have an update in our Forum.
Uploading multiple copies of your Mod in the hope that one of them will catch our attention and get it posted sooner, don't do it - instead post about your work : in our Forum.
Yes, we give priority to Modders that are active in our Community , want to get your work noticed ? post about what you are working on in our Forum, that is what I do.
Updates replace the old version - we don't host multiple versions of a Mod.
Bundling Mods of several Authors is discouraged - as it eats up Web Space and Bandwidth that we pay for - unless you have express authorization by the Author(s) or want to update an old Mod with a replacement in a CDDS or newer Modman format.
Mods are posted in the order we receive them, if your Mod is not posted there is a reason , to know why you can post in our Forums or send a PM to one of the Forum Mods.
Many FC1 mods are compatible with FC2 or DCS BS - we will update out Website code soon, then we will start to update the compatibility tags.

VRS released the FS9 F/A-18E back in 2009 and it took them a while to release the FSX version, which was eagerly awaited and they did not disappoint. Accurate modeling of flight dynamics and a fully functional cockpit, coupled with user ability to configure different weapon and fuel loads makes the VRS F/A-18E Superbug an outstanding FSX add on..
