I have recently found this game and it looks great.

totally real graphics, and effects.

Now 2 questions

1)
What do all of you think of this game?
Is it worth my time and money?

2)
Why can't FC2 have the same kind of graphics?
It drives me crazy.
I think what would be perfect is a Microsoft Flight simulator X / modern combat jets.
Then you can fly where ever you want, assign ground and air targets.
And you get the personal satisfaction of Killer awesome graphics.

Don't get me wrong, FC2 has great graphics. (after applying 20+ mods)

Am I the only one here would like this?

Let me know
 Raptor :icon_F16:

Wings Of Prey is awesome. The graphics are next-gen and the sound is great as well. I don't know what kind or how big of a community the game has but I unfortunately never got around to buying it. Just from playing the demo though I can say that if I had the money at the time to buy the game, I would have easily bought it cause it is worth it.

Because LockOn and DCS are re-manufactured versions of the same 13 year old Flanker 2.0 environment and it most likely won't ever change. Anybody on ED forums will argue against this fact but they would of course be either brain dead or stupid to not realize the similarities. DCS is a "brand new revolutionary simulator" over there according to them. Talk down about it and you get the wave of hate (negative reaction comments, negative reputation points, and/or probably banned). DCS is awesome don't get me wrong but factually speaking it is a module, not a simulator.

Even Wikipedia clearly states it:
Digital Combat Simulator (abbreviated DCS) is a series of study combat flight simulator video games by Eagle Dynamics, and the descendent of the popular "Su-27 Flanker" series.

Just extra proof. (sorry, I sometimes like to prove a point when people disagree)

Flanker 2.0 - Released 1999

Flanker 2.5 - Released 2001/2002

LockOn/FC1 Released 2003

DCS:Ka-50 Released 2008

LockOn/FC2 Released 2009 (LO made compatible with DCS:BS)

DCS:A-10C Released 2011

Do you see the advancement? It is all the same environment and all ED has done is continually add to it instead of make brand new. They have done a great job of it though cause if it wasn't as good as it is I probably wouldn't still be here. :icon_wink:

Wings of Prey sucks. Don't waste you money. It's too repititious. Same damages, everybody flys spits because it the best plane, and very hard to configure planes to fly correctly.

oh,

That sucks that the spittfire is the best plane.
I thought the P-52 would be?

Oh well any other suggested simulators?
What should I get insted?
