Making learning the DCS A-10C easy (if you have a Saitek X-52)

I am adding the final touches to an X-52 Pro profile that should make it very easy to learn how to use the A-10C systems

this is starting on the runway

one click

- switches on the systems
- select the AGM-65 Maverick
- switch on the TGP
- Align the AGM-65 Maverick
- Turn on the ECM and counter measures
- Loads a Chaff/Flares profile and switches on to manual

it is not instantaneous, you will need to press and hold for a few seconds so that the routine has time to run

This is an X-52 Pro profile designed in such a way as to simplify the use of the systems - this video shows the A-10C in the runway at the start of the mission with all systems not yet configured. Using only the Joystick, all systems will be configured and the A-10C made ready for take off.

using a similar profile to do the same thing while flying

this mod (the profile and a Modman Package) should be ready this weekend

I prefer to use the profiles for weapons instead of manually selecting a specific pylon to use like you did here. That way you can easily switch between them via the DMS switch instead of having to open DSMS and clicking on the specific OSB. Also you use specific changes like Auto-Lase selection and whatnot with GBU-12s for example.
that is only to provide an option - I've made the profile mostly to ease AGM-65 and CCRP use
